That's an old family expression. I'm not sure what toddler/preschooler from which generation said it, but I know my grandmother as well as my mother and aunt have used it quite a bit over the years.
So what I'm doing today is putting together ideas. Making lists, checking them twice. Getting my feet under me. Enough playing around - it's time to start getting serious. Using words like production schedule and deadlines. Empowering words.
I want my blog to be more than just a place to share recipes. I want to help others the way that other blogs have helped me, inspired me, made me think "wow I could so do that!"
I've promised some tutorials, some recipes complete with tweaks, some craft-alongs and some craftivism challenges. I'm a lady of my word.
By next week, you'll start to see more regular posts. Not just me trying to figure out what to write while dinner is bubbling away on the stove. We will definitely have all those wonderful things I've promised, and in a timely manner.
That being said, I'm going to go finish a knitted dishcloth I was supposed to have done last Friday so I can work on a graduation quilt for a friend's daughter tomorrow (she graduated in June, by the way). {{{CHUCKLES}}}
Have a great evening!
